HOW TO MAKE A TURBO-DENIM-CAKE™(A recipe for sweet denim-blue cookie-happiness!):

For about 50 pieces of TURBO-DENIM-CAKE™ you’ll need the following ingredients:

– a little fat (for the baking pan) – baking paper (for the baking pan)

– 250g Wheat Flour

– one teaspoon of Dr. Denim™ Original Baking Powder

– 75g sugar – one pack of Dr. Denim™ Vanillin-Sugar

– one very small amount of salt (which is called “Prise”)

– one medium sized egg

– two bottles colour blue of Schwartau™ “Back- und Speisefarben” and 125g butter.

First you gotta fattening the baking pan with whatever comes in handy (Crisco™, butter, olive oil), then fold out some baking paper on it. After that, you should pre-heat the oven up to about 180 to 200°C. Then mix up the flour with the Dr. Denim™ Baking Powder, before you add sugar, Vanillin-Sugar (also of Dr. Denim™ brand, which is important!), a little “Prise” of salt, egg, two bottles of Schwartau-blue and butter and then shake, rattle and roll all the stuff with a electric mixing device. First on slow speed, then on fast speed, until you get a smooth dough (if it’s sticky, put it in the fridge for a short while). After this, just put some flour on a plate and roll out the denim-blue dough and cut out every which desired motive (from sailorgirls to nautic stars, everything is possible!). Note: If you got no proper rolling device, you can use some wine or whiskey bottle to roll out the dough as professional as all the other kitchen cracks, BUT round bottles are easier to use ;  ) And if you ain’t got those little metal cut-out-forms you’re mom always used, when you were still a little baby-denim-sucker, then try out the round circles some glasses or cups can make, when you turn them upside down and press them into the rolled out denim-blue dough! Here you can see how many motives are possible with professional equipment, but freestyling is always welcome in the denim kitchen! Put all the stuff on the baking pan and shove it into the pre-heated oven for about 10 minutes baking time. But be aware, that the denim-blue colour can fuck you up, because it’s difficult to see when the TURBO-DENIM-CAKE™ is burning! So stay near the oven, listen to “Ass Cobra” and always watch the cookies with at least one eye open! After letting them cookies cool a bit down and kitchen-pogo-ing some minutes to “Denim Demon” try to serve them in an oldschool-X-mas-style way like shown above – just to impress mom and your Jugend!!! Then lean back, put the lights of your christmas tree on and take a big bite of your very own TURBO-DENIM-CAKE™, and enjoy a Christmas time galore!

Turbojugend Salzburg wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See and hear you in 2009, Yours sincerely, Turbojugend Salzburg!!!
