DJ Meister (alien explorer, djs aus mitleid) “Processing Other Perspectives” is die zweite Veröffentlichung von Szely auf mosz nach seinem Debut-Album “Welcome To My World”. Das Projekt ist geprägt von zahlreichen Kollaborationen u.a. mit Nik Hummer, Wolfgang Kopper, Bernhard Loibner, Martin Siewert, Ulrich Troyer und der australischen Sängerin Melita Jurisic. Szely und Jurisic finden sich zusammen mit Bidner/Martinek, Peter Chiochetti, Thomas Feuerstein, Philipp Quehenberger und Dirk Stermann auf dem Vinyl-Album DAIMON NLP, das anlässlich der Ausstellung TRICKSTER von Thomas Feuerstein im Tiroler Landesmuseum präsentiert wird. # Szely has an impressive, decade-long track record in the art gallery – his sound installations have been exhibited all over the world as well as his native Vienna – this is the first time that he has composed specifically for the compact disc. And it’s worth the wait. In contrast to the naively ebullient titles, Szely’s music is immaculately calibrated – minimal, for sure, but every sonic event is a subtle pleasure, perfectly processed, ushered gracefully to its rightful place in the stereo spectrum. Most of the tracks are long, but they’re far from aimless. Even at his most stealthily crepuscular (“Welcome To My World”, “Lifestyle”), Szely is intent on his distant horizons, constantly enfolding new details into the seamless stream of sound.
