DOKURO is the artistic maelstrom formed by the duo of Agnes Szelag & The Norman Conquest.  The main artistic focus of Dokuro is exploring the intersection of composition and improvisation.  Their music has been described as a collision of electronics, voices, & cello in a frenzied swirl of noise, pop melodies, improvisation, and lush ambience that transport the listener to blood red moons & dusty corners of the heart.  Dokuro’s music has been described by The Wire as- “extremist fare that blasts away the earwax without leaving you feeling pointlessly bludgeoned,” and “discreetly sculpted.”  Dokuro has played with Fred Frith, Zeena Parkins, Helena Espvall, Terry Riley, Pauline Oliveros, & Torben Ulrich to name a few. # ANDI STECHERS « Innards » (aut) sind polyrhythmisch persönliche Versuche, das innerste und intimste Erleben und Wahrnehmen musikalisch auszudrücken und darzustellen.
