this is an interview with Karen Chouhan, chief officer of the group the „1990 Trust“ – for human rights and race equality.
especially for the black communities (which includes asian people, black people, coloured people) they try to give information on changes on laws concerning their rights. besides various campaigns (now for expample a campaign against the destitution of asylum seekers) they run also a research section on their webpage on various topics – from health to militarism or womens topics.
this interview is about antidiscrimination laws which have been existing in great britain for a longer time than in most of the countries of the european union. karen chouhan tells about the work of the 1990 trust and about her opinion of laws on antidiscrimination in general.
