A musical edition of Sweet Travels today, with the „White Album“ of the Beatles, which was mostly composed in Rishikesh, India.

Together with Daniel Hughes, Sweet Travels makes a journey through time today. Back to 1968, to Rishikesh, in the northern part of India. Daniel Hughes guides us through the so-called Beatles Ashram in Rishikesh and plays songs from the Beatles‘ „White Album“. The songs of this Album were composed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr during their time in Rishikesh.

Mischa talked to Daniel on the ground of the Beatles Ashram, about the creation of the „White Album“. Daniel did extensive research and gives us anecdotes and a look behind the scenes. And he is performing Beatles songs in the Ashram in Rishikesh. Daniel does not only play Beatles songs. He is also very much into folk, blues, swing, Electro Swing, Gypsy-Beat-Pop, and more.
