The history of electronic music and club culture has always been inherently political. In recent years, the discussion on power structures within club scenes – representation, booking and door policies, fees – has intensified. Zosia a.k.a Mala Herba and Moli a.k.a Monster are part of Oramics, a platform to support women, non-binary and queer people in the electronic music scene and promote music and artists from post-soviet spaces. They talk about their respective stories with electronic music and political activism, the idea behind Oramics and collective activities, and unequal power relations within European club scenes and queer/feminist activism.
