Dieses Wochenende startet das Resistanz-Festival bereits zum dritten Mal. Dieser Newcomer unter den Electro-Industrial-Events in Sheffield hat sich innerhalb kürzester Zeit zu einem fixen Bestandteil der europäischen Festivalszene etabliert und fährt mit einem hochkarätigen Line-Up auf, sowohl was Bands, als auch, was DJs betrifft. Dass Resistanz in so kurzer Zeit so erfolgreich werden konnte, ist nicht zuletzt Verdienst eines seiner Begründer Leighton James-Thompson, der mit ganzem Herzen und voller Leidenschaft sich für die Subgenres in der modernen Electro- und Industrial-Szene einsetzt. Bevor nun am Freitag in Sheffield die dreitägige Eskalation beginnt, wo Leighton diesmal auch selbst am DJ-Pult zugange sein wird, haben wir den Meister an unsere Turntables gebeten. This weekend it’s about to begin the great Resistanz International Industrial Music Festival takes place in Sheffield already for the third time. This newcomer of electro-industrial-events became inherent part of European festival-scene within a short time and provides an outstanding line-up of bands and DJs from the scene. The credits of this success surely are due to Leighton James-Thompson, whose brainchild Resistanz is and who puts his heart and soul and passion in supporting all subgenres in the modern electro and industrial scene. Before the tree days of escalation start, where Leighton also is going in to take the dancers’ breaths this time with his DJ-set, we let the master spin an hour of Mitternachtsreigen. So a breeze of Sheffield streams through our studio tonight with a great playlist compiled by Leighton and will blow you away, right on to the dancefloor!
