„Plainsong“ – das ist der Name einer der wohl bedeutendsten aber leider nicht sehr bekannten Supergroups des Genres Singer/Songwriter/Folk- & Countryrock. Wie keine andere Band hat es diese Gruppe um die 4 britischen Musikerkoryphäen Iain Matthews, Julian Dawson, Mark Griffith und Andy Roberts geschafft, das Beste der englischen und amerikanischen Folk- und Songwriter-Tradition zu vereinen und damit zeitlose Musik zu erschaffen.
