Suffering was the topic for the last two sutras, and it continues to be the focus for today with 2.17 and some. Sutra 2.15 told us that life is suffering. Sutra 2.16 told us that we can overcome future suffering. Today, sutra 2.17 defines what causes suffering.
Remember that the goal of yoga is to tap into our true, authentic self. It’s easy when we’re babies to be naturally connected to this. We haven’t yet been programmed, conditioned or had experiences that cloud over this reality. As we get older though, we start to make attachments to our relationships, our possessions, our jobs, the experiences we’ve gone through, etc. We start attaching meaning to things that actually have no meaning.
We use them and the stories we’ve created around them to identify who we now believe ourselves to be.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
What is the meaning of the woods are lovely dark and deep but I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep and miles to go before I sleep?
Woods represent sensuous enjoyment (lovely),
the darkness of ignorance (dark) as well as the dark inner self of humanity (deep).
The last two lines means that the poet Robert Frost has to fulfill his promises and has to travel a lot of distance before he can rest.
and this day is lovely, bright and filled with opportunity of promises to keep,
and yes, I have promises to keep, bringing you this VENUSfrequency

And this is ANNEMARIE awakening more and more together, raisingvibrations and healingtogether and having miles to go before I sleep, one with YOU and all of LIFE, broadcasting frequencies and supporting energy wavesthat vibrate bright, lucid and clear, that nourish the powerful feminine aspects of all things creation.
Bringing forth faith, hope, love, healing and the feminine,
and with that not meaning gender, but the feminine principle that is living—or suppressed—in all of us men or women.”
because the power to either destroy, divide & suppress
or to
heal, UNITE, awaken, co-create & nourish, lie in our own hearts, vision & responsibility.
