No More Violence Against Women; the podcast of the WAVE Network.
In this podcast, WAVE voices are amplified to give insight on topics such as sexualised violence, online violence, femicides, violence against women with disabilities, youth activism, important legislation such as the Istanbul Convention, and more to highlight the different forms and dimensions of violence against women and girls.
In this episode, WAVE Youth Ambassador from Moldova Alina Cebotari has a conversation with Tatiana Chebac from the Law Center of Advocates, which is an NGO in Moldova working with refugees and asylum seekers. Tatiana talks about her efforts and work in assisting people fleeing from the war in Ukraine to Moldova, and highlights the importance of providing support sustainably. The episode centres on mental health and reiterates how crucial it is to have open dialogue to prevent and combat burnout. In addition to that, Tatiana reflects on the role of women, not only as refugees, but particularly as support providers and peacebuilders, as she shares a story of hope about the resilience of women fleeing the war in Ukraine.
