In this podcast, WAVE voices are amplified to give insight on topics such as sexualised violence, online violence, femicides, violence against women with disabilities, youth activism, important legislation such as the Istanbul Convention, and more to highlight the different forms and dimensions of violence against women and girls.
In this episode, WAVE Youth Ambassador from Wales Sabiha Azad and Chloe, a volunteer from Chayn, discuss their disappointment and fears regarding the decision to overturn the landmark ruling in the United States of America – Roe V Wade (1973) – and the global implications of this decision. In light of this, Chloe and Sabiha exchange resources, such as «It’s your choice: a judgement-free guide to abortion«, that have been created to ensure all women are aware of their rights, and guides to campaign for change and improvement.
Chayn is a global non-profit, run by survivors and allies from around the world creating resources to support the healing of survivors of gender-based violence. Chayn creates open, online resources and services for survivors of abuse that are trauma-informed, intersectional, multi-lingual and feminist. More about Chayn here.
