Richard Lawrence, post-doc researcher at the University of Vienna currently holding a seminar on Frege’s philosophy of language, talks to Camilo Giraldo about Frege’s much praised contributions to modern logic, his lifelong yet unfulfilled project of delivering a purely logical account of the foundations of arithmetic, and his influence on what has often been referred to as the ‘linguistic turn’ in 20th century’s philosophy.
