Alyona Pynzenyk is a violinist who is passionate about diversity, collaboration and synergy between people. She is particularly interested in the exchange between musicians, which she sees as a fundamental resource for artistic and personal development.

Born in Ukraine, Alyona began her classical violin training in her hometown of Uzhgorod and continued it at the Lviv M. Lysenko National Academy. After graduating in 2014, she decided to move to Graz to continue her musical journey. She has currently completed her second master’s degree in performance practice in contemporary music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, under the direction of the ensemble Klangforum Wien. At the same time, she works as a substitute with the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra, plays with the Styrian Improvisers Orchestra and the Ensemble NeuRaum and performs at events and festivals such as impuls, Wien Modern Festival, Styriarte and open music. She is a co-founder of Ensemble Coincidence.
