In previous yoga sutra, Patanjali mentions the mind’s ability to divide into various branches as a means to live in various situations and moments. Even though these branches derive from the singular consciousness. They must still be examined in deep meditation.
As we may allow ourselves to branch from the purusa consciousness, there must still be an effort to move from a completely intentional and pure space. This may be done through profound meditation.
Any past impressions, or emotions that may color the purity of consciousness are considered obstacles. Through meditation, we enable ourselves to see through any discoloration and move more deeply into the heart, the center for emotional growth and transcendence.
Within this stage of meditation, the yogi will be very advanced, and will be able to pick up each fluctuation with a heightened sensitivity. The only way to reach this place in your practice is to remain dedicated to the practice.
