We celebrate and must not neglect that, because we celebrate work, existence, successes, failures, what we have learned, and what we need to unlearn. When we are in oppressive, racist systems, our struggle and solidarity are crucial. We work together so that better living and working conditions are accessible to everyone, what is important is that we do not produce oppressive systems. It’s a pleasure to listen to great and smart people.

maiz decided to act. maiz celebrates its 30th anniversary this year!!!

Great guest: Letícia Carneiro, association maiz

Letícia Carneiro studied law and communication in Brazil.  She has been working at maiz, an independent association by and for  migrant women* since 2019, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this  year. She is currently one of the co-directors of the association as  well as the coordinator of the Sex & Work area. Working at maiz means  learning and unlearning every day, with the firm goal of continuing  the fight for a good life for everyone. https://maiz.at/en
