It seems like we could not stay away from Liverpool and Everton this time round, as we focused on these two clubs for the majority of the show. We might as well call this “The Merseyside Special”.

Why? Well, we took a deeper look at the penalty incident involving Ashley Young and Harry Maguire/Matthijs De Ligt, which angered Ben so much (I think he has since gotten over it…). He then provided us with an insight of what the last ever Merseyside derby at Goodison Park was like.

One of the most discussed topics amongst professional pundits is whether Mo Salah deserves the Ballon d’Or, of which we also had our say. Since he is probably the most consistent player for Liverpool this season, Dave shared what he thought of Arne Slot so far, and what the future holds for some of the key players, namely Trent Alexander-Arnold.
