In the third edition of the V is for LoVe monday morning show, Milo Rau talks with his guests about two remarkable productions featured at the Wiener Festwochen.

In the first part of the programme, he is joined by Juliane Werner. Together, they discuss „Ils nous ont oubliés – They have forgotten us“, a musical adaptation of Thomas Bernhard’s novel „Kalkwerk“, directed by Séverine Chavrier. The production blends text, sound, and performance into a powerful reinterpretation of Bernhard’s novel.

The second part of the programme is dedicated to the project Academy Second Modernism and the concerts NO MORE EXCUSES I & II. Composer Jamie Man shares insights into the background of the concert series, talks about her own musical contribution, and reflects on the personal and artistic motivations that shape her work.
