However! There’s something important happening in Japan this Sunday, July 20th – the Upper House election
So, I thought I’d take a moment to share a little bit about Japanese politics.
We’re seeing similar trends as in many other countries: «put your country first», a pushback against globalization, and rising new parties that challenge the old system.
As someone from the younger generation, I feel a certain responsibility to care about politics – and I really hope more youth will get involved too.
You don’t have to support a specific party, but even just voting is a way to show your voice and take responsibility for the society we live in.
So, I’ll also be mixing in some chill, beachy tracks to keep the vibe alive.
Let’s enjoy this unique combo of politics and summer mood – a bit of thinking, a bit of dancing.

本来なら今日は「サマースペシャル Part 2」として、ビーチや太陽、夏っぽい音楽をたっぷり届ける予定でが、
今週の日曜日、7月20日は日本でとても大事な日、そう参議院選挙が行われます。
なので今日は少しだけ、日本の政治についても触れてみたいと思います。
今、日本は世界の多くの国と同じように、「自国第一」や「反グローバリズム」のような流れが強まっていて、これまでのシステムに挑戦する新しい政党もどんどん出てきています。
私自身、若い世代として政治に関心を持つ責任を感じていますし、もっと多くの若者が「どこに投票するか」というよりも、まずは声をあげること＝投票することを通して、社会に関わってほしいなと思っています。
なので今日は、そんな政治の話と一緒に、ビーチ感たっぷりのチルな夏曲もミックスしてお届けします。
