Listen. Listen with your whole body, your whole being.
Slow down. Take a breath. Tune in.

This is our final Ženergija before the SUMMER BREAK, and we’re closing the season with something truly special—a LIVE performance that brings the natural world into the studio.

We’re honored to host Bassano Bonelli Bassano, a brilliant sound artist who invites us to pause and feel—deeply and fully—everything that is moving within and around us.

Bassano creates multichannel performative installations, soundscapes, and compositions for performance, theater, dance, and video art. Their immersive sound journeys weave voice, breath, water, stones, and poetry into profound listening experiences.

They approach listening as both a question and a method, exploring sound as vibration and relation. Their work invites presence, builds connection, and opens new ways of sensing and knowing.

Rooted in collaboration and community, their practice moves between installation, performance, and collective processes of gathering and composing. Multilingual storytelling and elemental materials are key textures in their work.

Of Italian and French origin, Bassano lives in Vienna and has shared time in Rabat for over 12 years. This journey has shaped a deep practice of listening as a way of grounding and being with the world.

Their solo and collaborative works have been presented across Austria and internationally, in festivals, community spaces, and art venues. Since 2018, they’ve been creating sound installations in ongoing collaboration with Belinda Kazeem-Kamiński and artists from the worlds of dance, theater, video, and street performance.

Don’t miss this unique, live sonic experience.
