No More Violence Against Women; the podcast of the WAVE Network.

In this podcast, WAVE voices are amplified to give insight on topics such as sexualised violence, online violence, femicides, violence against women with disabilities, youth activism, important legislation such as the Istanbul Convention, and more to highlight the different forms and dimensions of violence against women and girls.

Join us in celebrating International Youth Day 2025 with a special podcast episode featuring WAVE Youth Ambassadors Laura Seidl (Austria) and Tea Milosavljević (Serbia)!

In this episode, we focus on the perspectives of youth feminist activists on the theme of the 2025 WAVE Conference: ‘Feminist Solidarity and Collective Action: Reclaiming Our Power to End Violence Against Women’. In a time of rising anti-feminist narratives, political repression, policy setbacks and funding cuts, young feminist activists across Europe are mobilising, building community, and practising resistance in their own unique and powerful ways.

In this conversation, 4th generation WAVE Youth Ambassadors Laura Seidl (Austria) and Tea Milosavljević (Serbia) reflect on the meaning of feminist solidarity and collective action, drawing on their experiences of grassroots organising and intersectional activism; from protest movements in Serbia to navigating feminist work in multicultural contexts, such as Austria and Brazil.

They both highlight their contributions as young feminists to current struggles for justice and demonstrate how collective organising across borders and movements is a key tool in reclaiming power and resisting violence.

Tune in to be inspired and gain valuable insights into feminist youth activism. Whether you are an aspiring activist or looking for ways to support and navigate your activist journey, this episode is for you!
