Raumgestaltung - Partizipative Stadtentwicklung: Diskussion

Freedom of cultural life is severely restricted in authoritarian countries, yet there are always areas where a certain degree of freedom of cultural creativity is possible. Especially in times when more and more democracies are tipping toward illiberalism or authoritarianism, the question arises all the more urgently as to what forms of resistance are possible and how a free culture, as one of the cornerstones of an open society, can be kept alive. How can social alliances and international connections help in this regard?

Participants:
Michal Hvorecky (Slovakian author and journalist)
Anastasia Patlay (Russian theatre director, Teatr.doc)

Moderation:
Dessy Gavrilova (cultural entrepreneur and curator)
