In the second episode of “Rethinking youth migration in the Alps,” we focus on concrete solutions. Representatives from Trentino, Maribor, and Vesoul share how youth outmigration affects their regions – and how local pilot actions within the Interreg Alpine Space OUT4INGOV project are turning this challenge into an opportunity.
We explore what makes Alpine regions attractive for young people, and how participatory approaches, networking, and co-creation help keep skills, ideas, and connections linked to places of origin. The episode highlights how involving young people can directly strengthen local governance and make mountain regions more resilient and future oriented.
