VENUSfrequency a pop|culture way of the Yoga, Meditation, holistic Body Wisdom and Soul ARTistry lifestyle, together we rise in support of a more mindful, co-creating, accepting, healing and loving world.
We find ourselves in a sacred passage of the year —
a season of masks and masquerade, just before the quiet invitation of fasting time.
a season of masks and masquerade, just before the quiet invitation of fasting time.
And today, we step into the second chapter of our journey together —
walking the SOUL ARTist Way, this year.
walking the SOUL ARTist Way, this year.
This chapter is about recovering a sense of identity. Not constructing a better self.
Not polishing the mask. But remembering who we are beneath it.
Not polishing the mask. But remembering who we are beneath it.
Patanjali tells us: “Then the Seer rests in its own true nature.” In sutra 1.3
— tadā draṣṭuḥ svarūpe avasthānam.
— tadā draṣṭuḥ svarūpe avasthānam.
Yoga is not self-improvement. It is self-remembering.
The Upanishads whisper: Tat Tvam Asi. You are That.
So how do we walk this chapter?
We show up at the pages. We let the morning pages become a place to rest, to dream, to try. We set small and gentle goals — and we meet them.
We pray for guidance. For courage. For humility.
We choose companions who encourage us to do the work —
not only talk about doing the work, not only analyze why we are not doing the work —
but actually sit down and create.
not only talk about doing the work, not only analyze why we are not doing the work —
but actually sit down and create.
We remember that the Great Mystery, the Divine Creator, loves gentle, healing, sustainable, non wasteful creativity.
And we remember this: It is our job to do the work.
It is not our job to judge the work.
It is not our job to judge the work.
