A Conversation with AMRO26 Contributors Christina Gruber and Livio Liechti about walking, artistic research and ecological perspectives on digital infrastructures and data centers.
At AMRO26, they both contributed to the morningsession: „How to boil a datacenter“ and also to the workshop Landscape Grief Camp, which explores collective mourning, protest, and ritual practices in response to data center construction and ecological transformation.
The conversation focused on the material realities behind the “Cloud,” the environmental impact of data centers on landscapes and water systems, and how walking, publishing, artistic research, and collective ritual practices can create new forms of awareness, resistance, and imagination.
