In our latest podcast episode, 22-year-old Maria Luisa Sánchez talks about her experiences on the former Triglav Glacier in Slovenia. As part of the “Young Glacier Voices” project, she visited Slovenia’s highest mountain alongside other young adults – a cross-border experience in every sense of the word. Dijana Čataković Biagi organised the camp and tells us more about the background to the project. Young people also attended a glacier camp in the Ötztal valley in Tyrol this summer – Félicie Weiss from the Girls on Ice* Austria association explains why only girls took part.
