Fuer die Voegel ist eine akustische Installation im öffentlichen Raum des Resselparks, die das private innere geschehen im Container nach Aussen in den Park wirft – in Richtung der Bäume, also für die Vögel.

Für die Vögel referiert aber auch auf John Cage’s „for the birds“. For the birds bedeutet übrigens im Englischen das selbe wie „für die Fisch“ im Wiener Idiom.

Wir bewohnen für zehn Tage einen der zwölf Container am Karlsplatz. Objekte, Boden und Wände im Inneren des Wohn- und Arbeitscontainers werden mit speziellen Mikrofonen ausgestattet. Die auditiven Spuren häuslicher Aktivität werden live und rund um die Uhr über Lautsprecher in die Bäume der näheren Umgebung und mittels Live-Streaming an unsere Webpage übertragen.

For ten days we are going to live in one of the twelve containers at the Karlsplatz. The floor, the walls, and other objects in the interior of the container in which we will live and work will be fitted with microphones. The auditive traces of our homely activities will then be transmitted live and around the clock to nearby trees via loud speakers and streamed to our website.
