Wie vereinbart man Neue Medien und Globales Lernen und lassen sich Perspektiven dieser Welt mit einer Smartphone-Kamera festhalten? Diesen Fragen stellt sich das Welthaus Linz gemeinsam mit SchülerInnen und LehrerInnen bei ¨Smart up your life¨, als Teil des EU-Projekts ¨Global Fairness — Schools as agents for change¨.
Wie Schulen selbst aktiv werden können und sich kreativ mit den Themen Klimawandel und Ernährung auseinandersetzen können und was sonst noch so möglich ist, mit einem Video auf dem Smartphone — darüber werden Bettina Reiter und Martin Stöbich vom Welthaus Linz sprechen.

Weltempfänger: Radio Student under pressure…
The Ljubljana (Slovenia) based Radio Student is one of Europe’s oldest and strongest independent and non-commercial alternative urban radio stations. It was established back in 1969 by the Student Organisation of the University of Ljubljana as a result of the student movement in 1968. Now, already in its 44th year of broadcasting, it is struggling for its existence due to the drastic cutbacks made by the radio’s founder (the Student Organization of the University of Ljubljana). Jerneja Zavec interviewed Robert Mohorič, the director of Radio Student, who explained the reasons for such drastic cuts, the broader consequences for Slovenian radio and society and how they are fighting to ensure Radio Student’s continued existence …
Critical thinking shouldn’t be extinguished by such measures, as we are aware of the importance of independent media outlets for society, especially for vulnerable groups. Therefore sign the petition, donate some cents if possible and help save Radio Student.
