This special feature is all about the vienna based Record Label Mego, which is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary these days.
After it’s relaunch 2006 under the new moniker editions Mego the Label gained more and more momentum and has now an enourmous output of international artists with various sublabels. 2013 alone they put out 75 records.
I talked to Pita about Labelwork, putting out Vinyl Records these days, how he moved from the UK to Austria and how it all started in Vienna in the early 90ties. I also asked about how his newest Group Shampoo Boy came into life and future releases. Have a listen!
