Friends and co-directors, Jenny Murray and Laura Tomaselli are behind the documentary Memorias del Fuego. The film is about women who fought for the Sandinista revolution in Nicaragua, in 1979. The film is about remembering this past, but also maintaining strength to move forward. These wildly dedicated women who fought are still fighting injustices and marginalization in Nicaragua.
