GEAS – Ein System zur Legitimierung von Menschenrechtsverletzungen?
In Rwanda, the East African country which is still largely remembered for the ethnic genocide in 1994, the majority of the population still lives as subsistence farmers in very poor conditions. However, change is in the air. The government led by Paul Kagame wants to transform Rwanda’s economy from agricultural-based to a diversified economy with a strong IT sector. Young entrepreneurs play an important role in this development.
In this show Aline Uwase, founder of The HappyNes, and Dominique Alonga, founder of Imagine We Rwanda, talk about their journey as young social entrepreneurs in Kigali, their experiences and challenges, especially as a woman in a still male dominated field.
Musik: Angel Mutoni – No Label
