  1. Thank you all for sharing your dreams and experiences with us.
You have revealed a sore point of our society due to legal and political decisions or pure incomprehension. Best wishes for everyone and may a change for the better come soon.

  2. This is Ishmael Kargbo in Sweden. I was a refugee myself when I moved over to Sweden after the bloody civil war in Sierra Leone. It was a challenging time settling in a foreign country. My experience of being a refugee is echoed by the exchanges in this program. To be seen as an outsider is the worse thing you could ever experience. You are an intruder, a burden to the host nation. That is how you feel when ever your asylum claims are doubted by the authorities. And you are left alone to wonder whether you are even considered a human. But refugees are humans who just want a break from the bad experiences they had been subject to prior to them asking for an asylum. As a refugee in Sweden, I had to deal with the bad memories of the war, the family I left in the war and the immigration authorities I then faced. It was not easy. But thank God, when once Sweden gave me the opportunity to start a new life here, today I am a senior immigration offices myself. So guys, stay on the right side of the law while working to get your status. It will be fine.
