Two anniversaries and a retrospective: Furrer 70 / Nono 100

Since she came to Graz to study, there has been a connection between Schallfeld and Florence-based composer and improviser Daniela Fantechi. In her talk with Margarethe Maierhofer-Lischka, she explains her approach to music, why contact mics fascinate her, what listening means for her as a composer and what she is currently doing in her research as PhD candidate at the Orpheus Institute in Ghent.
