It’s not sarcasm, I really do happen to like the town I live in, aware as I am that it could be temporary and everything, it’s just very pleasant at the moment and it has been for a while. Sometimes, on my walk to work, as I greet people along the way, I imagine I am none but Lorelai in her beloved Stars Hollow, as welcoming and wacky as « our » streets, troubadours included. Just knowing that both friends and nature are but a few minutes’ walk away changes the way I wake up in the morning and which music I hear first.

Some tracks are, indeed, right out of « the Gilmore Girls », like  the Shins with « So says I », others, like « No Below », are featured in games, but mostly it’s just music that makes me think of St. Pöten. Maybe they were recommended by friends, maybe I heard them in a bar, they’re my « Dear St. Pölten » songs.
