Have you watched the latest launches into space? I find it kind of thrilling, the energy, the drama, the excitement and anguish of a liftoff. It’s the only way to go really „outside“, if you think in terms of earthlings and all/anything that we’ve taken from our Star Treks and our Star Wars and Twilight Zones and X Files and so on. I guess it’s that run-of-the-mill dream of flying and that logical hope of landing safely that brought me to this here show. The only humans that do fly, basejumpers, wingsuiters, paragliders, are, naturally, also in my thoughts while mixing.

Besides Air and Sigur Ros, being played twice in this show, the rest are, if I dare to say so myself, pretty unique. Öken, for instance, was a lucky find, as was nuages, while Polo & Pan is already established in most playlists since March or so. As I was watching the stars a couple of nights ago, right after that Falcon 9 launch, with the SpaceX’s Crew Dragon, it became clear to me that they’re not so far after all, the stars.
