Without a doubt one of the best acts to come out of the USA in the 1980´s, Tucson´s THE SIDEWINDERS (later the SAND RUBIES) put out more than a handful of Crazy Horse-esque desert jangle albums which endeared them to fans of Arthur Lee´s LOVE, Neil Young and anyone who ever loved the sound of an unbridled electric guitar.
A personal favorite of DJ Mark David´s, who saw the band live many times in their native Arizona and who remains a major fan to this day. They coulda been a contender!
