For most people, the year has up to 4 seasons, and the most common are spring, summer, fall, and winter.

Vermonters experience 6 seasons. They have these in-between periods when it’s the end of fall but not quite winter, or the end of winter but not quite spring.

This show is all about the season that starts around mid October and lasts into early December, it’s called Stick Season.

Stick Season is when family and friends get together to go apple picking and enjoy some brisk air and heartwarmening music, or meet in a cozy living room for a chat and drink by the fireplace or for a nice dinner at a long dinner table.

We’re going to share a few typical Stick Season comfort food recipes from Farmers in Vermont, and play an eclectic mix of music from Artists who exactly know what a stick season is.
