Mad River Glen- Ski it if you can!

30 years ago, this ski hill formed the Mad River Glen Cooperative. The founder´s vision was to develop a ski area where the sport, and not profit, is the objective and where skiers and employees form a community, and are dedicated to the sport and work with the nature, and not against it.

Today, Mad River Glen is the only skier-owned major mountain in the United States of America, and it is the only ski area that is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Skiers come to Mad River Glen for the unique combination of legendary, steep terrain, the sense of community, a low skier density, and an intimate atmosphere.
