Despite increased awareness of global inequalities, each new crisis seems to exacerbate these disparities. The COVID-19 pandemic made the rich even richer, while many in precarious situations lost their livelihoods. Meanwhile, the climate crisis continues unabated, disproportionately affecting the most vulnerable. How can we combat these global inequalities? This episode delves into the discussions from the 2022 Development Conference, where these critical issues took center stage. We hear from Professor Paula Banerjee, who speaks on labour and migration. Climate activist Pato Kelesitse discusses climate justice and internal displacement and Daniela Paredes Grijalva, co-organizer of the conference, highlights the importance of amplifying diverse voices
