One solution is REVOLUTION! Listen to this Ženergija on Radio ORANGE 94.0, because everything Monica and Robert say is so political, powerful, important and tender. When you dedicate a show to prisoners, or your work, you dedicate yourself to people who have not only been deprived of their freedom, but everything. Love, to remain human beings, to help others if we have privileges, to rejoice in small things, to not give up on each other, to be in solidarity!

The show is a mix of English/Serbian, really enjoyable, follow Café LG – Greetings to Prisoners/ Pozdravi za zatvorenike

Great guests: Robert and Monika are responsible for the Café LG – Greetings to Prisoners/ Pozdravi za zatvorenike

The show was originally used mainly by the ex-Yugoslav community, but by 2024, great efforts were being made to include other languages as well. To this end, Café LG also received funding from the municipal department 17 (Integration and Diversity). The program is extremely popular; every Sunday, about 200 messages are sent to Café LG.

In 2024, Café LG received the Radio Recognition Award of the Prelate Ungar Journalist Award for outstanding journalistic achievements.

Robert has been working in the media for over 15 years, both in television and radio, and has built up close connections within the ex-Yugoslavian community. He has also been working for Radio Orange for over 15 years. The programme has had different names over the different names over the years, but the core content has remained largely the same.

Monika is a political scientist and political activist in the fields of asylum, migration and prison. Since the end of 2023, she has been working with Robert at Café LG where she publishes information for prisoners and their relatives.

In 2024, Robert and Monika have also cooperated in other projects related to prison, e.g., the wienwoche 2024 exhibition “We speak for ourselves. Prisoners take the floor.”

Greetings and wishes for a speedy recovery for Jana Dolecki.
