What if everything was made out of earth, air, water and fire? In the ancient times, in the classical era and other cultures we often find the world explained as being a combination of the four elements. It is one of the many ways people tried to decipher the complexity of what surrounds us. This series of podcasts is dedicated to music performed by Schallfeld Ensemble which can be somehow linked to one of the four elements. It is a selection guided by personal interpretation and you are very welcome to disagree with. So, take your time, put on some good earphones and enjoy.
