U zhvillua një bisedë me Giannetta Milio, mbi temën: “Kur Turizmi Ndërtoi Qytetin: Transformimi Urban i Himarës.”

Biseda trajtoi mënyrën se si turizmi nuk transformoi vetëm ekonominë lokale, por edhe vetë strukturën urbane të Himarës. U diskutua se si presioni i zhvillimit të udhëhequr nga turizmi riformësoi peizazhin, arkitekturën dhe jetën e përditshme të qytetit. Ndërsa bregdeti u urbanizua me ritme të shpejta, u ngritën pyetje mbi identitetin urban, kujtesën kolektive dhe të ardhmen e hapësirës publike.

Diskutimi u ndal edhe tek dilemat kryesore të zhvillimit bashkëkohor: A u ndërtuan qytetet për komunitetet lokale apo për konsum sezonal? Çfarë u humb kur zhvillimi eci më shpejt se reflektimi urban dhe kulturor? Dhe a ekzistoi ende mundësia për një model më të qëndrueshëm të zhvillimit për bregdetin shqiptar?
