Seit 2004 verschreibt sich CROSSING EUROPE Filmfestival Linz jährlich im April programmatisch dem eigenwilligen, zeitgenössischen und gesellschaftspolitischen AutorInnenkino aus Europa.

NINA LINKEL and KATHARINA WAGNER sending live from the Crossing Europe Film Festival that takes place from 23th to 28th of April in Linz, Austria.

The focus is on films from the balkan region as well as from Eastern Europe. Furthermore, the two talk with Greek director SYLLAS TZOUMERKAS about his new feature film „A Blast“ and the „Greek New Wave“.

Since 2004, the CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival Linz has devoted its program each year in April to idiosyncratic, contemporary and socio-political auteur cinema from Europe. Over the six days of the festival, CROSSING EUROPE offers international film and press representatives and guests of the film industry (nearly 700 accredited festival participants) and the local cinema audience a program with approximately 180 outstanding, hand-picked films, documentaries and short films.
