Today we will hear a text by Sayed Habib Khawadi, who was born in 1977 in Mazar-i-Sharif in Afghanistan and today lives in Maria Lanegg in Lower Austria. He began studying medicine in Afghanistan, which he had to stop after 3 semesters because of the war in the country. He then worked in his father’s business and later as an ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) translator for the US Army. We will hear the text Afghanistan – giving food to hungry people is a prayer.
