Rey Joichl (he/they) is a performance artist, psychologist, and social media clown based in Vienna, Austria. Their work delves into themes of (post)migration, queerness, and the challenge of conventional boundaries of binary norms. They are particularly fascinated by exploring the nuances of life in the in-between, aiming to transform narratives from a restrictive “either/or” framework into a more comprehensive understanding of simultaneous identities existing within one body, always against the backdrop of social power structures. In addition to giving birth to words, worlds, and various creatures through their art, Rey currently also works with Brunnenpassage and Hyperreality Festival for Club Culture.

Erhan Althan: *1963 in Istanbul, studied electrical engineering, lives in Vienna. Translator, literary mediator and essayist, projects between Turkey and Austria. Since 2008 he has been active with Neuer Wiener Diwan.
