born in 1925, was taken from her hometown of Vinnytsia to the Hermann-Göring-Werke (HGW) steelworks. She initially worked at the blast furnaces before being transferred to a laboratory at the research facility. There, she was constantly exposed to ammonia fumes but received half a liter of milk and some butter as a reward.
